The project integrates with the existing landscape and in particular with the nature. The natural elements and the architectural ones create a new mutable landscape, which is always changing in time and season blending with the environment. The project focus on balconies and terraces of the hotel, that are characterized on different levels by the presence of flowerpots of various sizes integrated into the architectural structure of the building. Based on the size of the flowerpots and according to the conceptual layout of the building’s vegetation, a color gradient is defined and it can be perceived on the facade of the new building: from red tones in the lower levels to a yellowish one for the rooftops at levels 7 and 8. The building facade changes with the succession of the seasons, creating different atmospheres and scenarios: this is possible thanks to a balance of species with persistent color during the year and with seasonal effects created by leaves, flowers, fruits, bark, and evergreen spots.
