The redevelopment project for Via Cavour, part of the Andria R.E.S.P.I.R.A. urban strategy, introduces a substantial transformation of the public realm through an approach focused on sustainability, soft mobility, and the enhancement of the urban landscape. The intervention redesigns the city’s central axis by prioritizing continuous pedestrian routes, new tree plantings, and green infrastructure capable of mitigating the heat‑island effect and improving air quality. Updated paving materials, coordinated street furniture, and energy‑efficient lighting help restore identity and comfort to the space, strengthening urban connections and promoting a more inclusive and safer use of the street.
